Program of the Kréol Food and Rhum 2019
From October 20th - 26th 2019, the KFR will reunite the excellence of the French, Creole and Martinican culinary scene, promoting the heritage and know-how of our Martinique region.
The Arrival of The Chefs

Day in Sainte-Marie with Saint-James Rums
Morning: Open to the public *
- 8 am – Reception of the public with Bèlè Pliriel
- 8 am to 9 am – Cultural Animation
- 9 am to 10 am – Welcome speeches by the president of the UMIH Martinique and the president of KAYNOU (office of culture, sciences and heritage of the city of Sainte Marie). Presentation of the Chefs to the public and to the press by Sébastien RIPARI
- 10 am to 11 am – SHOW COOKING (Chefs: Arnaud Bloquel (Guadeloupe) – Nicolas MAGY (France / Bordeaux) – Vladimir François MAIKOOUVA (Martinique)
- 11 am to 12 pm – SHOW COOKING (Chefs: Antoine ZULEMARO (Guyana) – Christopher Santiago FIGUEROA (Porto Rico) – Orlando SATCHELL (Saint Lucia)
- 12 pm to 13 pm – SHOW COOKING (Chefs: Ruddy Nonone (Martinique), Louis-Philippe Vigilant (Martinique, Dijon), Benjamin Maillard (Martinique).
Animation, Conference and Dancing Lunch
- 13 pm to 13:30 pm – Cultural Animation
- 13:30 pm to 14:30 pm – Conference by Mrs. Josette Massolin President of Kaynou and professor of languages and regional cultures on the theme “Creole Cuisine and Creole Language”. Demonstration of fruit and vegetable sculpture by chef Jean Philippe CRAMPONT master MIKI MONO. Demonstration recipes of 3 young people in honor of the Chefs.
- 15 pm – Dancing lunch at the Saint-James restaurant, prepared by Gilles Malidor (food-rums agreement).
Day in Grand-Rivière and Macouba with JM Rums

- 9:15 am – Visit to JM Distillery
- 10:15 am – Meeting with the Master of Chai
- Balade in the gardens of the Habitation Bellevue.
